Solar PV

save Energy & Money

5 ways to reduce your energy consumption and save money

1. Photo PV Panels
2. Slimline Infrared Heaters
3. Voltage Optimisation Systems
4. Wireless Smart Light Controls
5. Electric and plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Charging Systems

By choosing to have a solar powered electricity generating system installed, you can cut your electricity bills because the Feed In Tariff will pay up to 43.3p for every kWp generated. And there’s more too, because you won’t have to pay your energy supplier for the energy that you have generated and consumed. In fact, if you “export” any surplus back to the grid, you will be paid a minimum of 3p per unit by the supplier. Like us, if you are also concerned about the environment, then you can make this investment with the added knowledge that for every kWp of solar panels installed, you will save 358kg of carbon emissions per year.

Our suppliers and manufacturing partners have been established in renewable energy since 1979 and we have been a Solar PV Distributor for over 5 years. This longstanding relationship and experience in the industry puts us in a unique position to offer the best in renewable energy solutions. For homes and businesses we are providing a range of Grid Connect PV Systems, incorporating solar panels, because we believe these are the best long term offering and will enable users to gain both maximum energy and cost benefits. We pay attention to detail and ensure a professional finish at your property

Why install solar PV?

  • Guaranteed returns over Lifespan of 25 years
  • Minimal maintenance
  • No moving parts
  • Free electricity
  • Works on daylight not just sunlight
  • Easily connected to the Grid
  • Save money and the environment

How does a solar PV system work?

  • Solar radiation (daylight) falls on the PV panels causing a direct current to flow.
  • This dc current travels to the inverter, which transforms it into ac current that can merge seamlessly with the mains electricity coming from the grid.
  • Import, Export and Generation meters keep a count of what you have generated, consumed and exported and your electricity bill is worked out from these figures.
  • Nearly all homes have a roof that faces a suitable direction. South at 30° is ideal, but anything from east to west and flat to vertical will work well.
  • Pv systems have no moving parts, and therefore require little to no maintenance.
  • Planning permission is now relaxed in all but listed buildings.
